Position: Research Associate

Job Description
A Research Associate position is immediately available for an independent,
organized, self-motivated individual with mammalian tissue culture, molecular

biology, and small animal experience. Preference will be given to applicants

with animal surgery experience but others may apply. The position will be in

support of an expanding R&D team that is moving two programs to the clinic

in 2010. You will join a small team of scientists conducting basic science and development studies. There is significant opportunity for career advancement

Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences or a related filed. Experience:
Laboratory experience in mammalian tissue culture is required. Basic molecular

biology skills are required. Small animal handling and surgery experience is

preferred. Primary responsibilities of this position will include: support tissue

culture of mammalian stem cells for a variety of projects; perform surgical

procedures in small animals; participate in experimental designs; in vitro and

in vivo data collection and evaluation. Must have demonstrable computer skills

in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc., as well as skills in data management and analyses.
